Ringhals is a Swedish nuclear power plant located on the Värö peninsula north of Varberg, approximately 60 km south of Gothenburg. The plant has four reactors that together produce electricity equivalent to 18% of Sweden’s annual consumption.
In connection with the annual shutdowns during the outage period, Elajo is engaged as a contractor on Ringhals 2, 3 and 4. Our task is to fit the reactors with steel-framed oak stop logs to dam the cooling water.
